Textiles Excursion, students will be designing clothing for their Fashion Show; held in Term 4. Students had an amazing opportunity to go to spotlight and buy fabric and accessories used for their design. All designs are hand-made and featured in the up and coming The Fashion Show.

VCD VCE

Top Designs is an annual exhibition at Melbourne Museum presenting work created by students who completed VCE Media, Product Design and Technology, Theatre Studies Design, Systems Engineering, Visual Communication Design and VET Creative Digital Media. This year’s VCE VCD students had an opportunity to visit this amazing Exhibition and have a look at what other students around Australia has completed for their subject area.

Year 12 Chemistry

Excursion to Latrobe University

Year 12 Chemistry students attended the chemistry workshop at Latrobe University in term 3. They performed a series of experiments in order to determine the structures of different organic compounds using instruments such as NMR, HLPC and MS. It was an insightful and great experience for Chemistry students.

Pastoral Care Reading Retreat

It was quite enjoyable even though l have fallen sleep some time during one of the reading sessions. I believe that really helped strengthen the bond between colleagues outside the school in a much more friendly atmosphere than that of official at school.
